Inside Sales Specialist/Customer Support
Work Location: Irvine, CA
Position Summary: Under general direction of Sales Director, facilitates customer service, customer support, marketing and inside sales activities in alignment with overall sales and marketing strategies and ensures long-term business relationships with key customers.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Enters customer orders, completes return requests, tracks orders and other customer service requirements; interprets and implements course of action relative to customer service activities.
2. Reviews/monitors weekly stock status reports and courtesy/follow-up calls to verify customer receipt of drop shipment, new items, and reactivated items.
3. Coordinates internal and external communication and action for purchase orders, stock products, and miscellaneous problem solving functions.
4. Proactively initiates calls to established customers in order to grow sales revenue and enhance customer relationships; conducts pre-call research and planning to set goals for the call and anticipates customer needs.
5. Conveys market intelligence discovered from the customers to sales/marketing team.
6. Completes customer maintenance requests such as address changes, additional ship-to locations, web setups and quality assurance forms; interacts with wholesalers as necessary to follow-up on stocking issues.
7. Serves as liaison between departments to resolve issues; keeps manager informed of any outstanding issues.
8. Makes recommendations and/or decisions to resolve issues between sales, manufacturing and the customer; coordinates all transactions required to respond and/or solve customer problems quickly and efficiently.
9. Works closely with sales/product management team, data processing, inventory department, delivery, and the operations department (materials management).
10. May participate in customer meetings as necessary.
11. Performs related duties as assigned.
Experience and Education Requirements
• Very strong attention to detail and unsurpassed customer service.
• More than 3 years experience in inside Sales coordination ·
• Flexible work schedule
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Must be bilingual in English and Korean
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, organizational skills;
• attention to detail, Ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
• Strong working knowledge of computers to operative effectively Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
